The GammonVillage news team will be on the scene of the 2002 World Championship in Monaco to provide our Gold and Diamond subscribers with daily coverage of the events as they unfold. This tournament will take place in the vast convention hall facilities of the luxurious Grand Hotel in Monte Carlo from Monday, July 8 to Sunday, July 14.

Players will begin to register on Monday to compete in the three main divisions - Beginner, Intermediate and Championship. Once registration is over and the brackets for Round 1 are posted in the main hall on Tuesday, we will create an identical ladder in our Tournaments section for the three main flights and will update them daily so that you may follow the progress of the players. We will also make a tournament ladder for the Super Jackpot once the entire list of players is set (as there are usually re-buys in this 128-player event)
