In recent tournament news, Neil Kazaross, currently the #7 Backgammon Giant, has won the 10th Annual Ohio State Backgammon Championships while over in Denmark, Germany's Thomas Lenz was the hero, claiming victory in the 16th Nordic Open attended by 392 players!

In the Ohio Championship final, Kazaross, a contributor of match commentary to GammonVillage, faced another of our writers, Chouette And More columnist Mary Hickey, the Ohio State Backgammon Club Top Player of the Year from 1997-2001
