This issue is a sort of backgammon grab bag with some fun bits and a few nice positions, but before anything else, let's salute Danish Backgammon.
In July, Mogens Knudsen won in Venice for the second time, beating Lars Trabolt in the final. The following weekend saw Peter Hallberg took the World Championship in Monte Carlo and when the circus moved on to Cannes, Jan Bloxham won that as well
