Antoionette Rodi reports from the 3rd European Backgammon Doubles Championships & 5th French Backgammon Open in Enghien-les-Bains, taking place from October 30th to November 4th.

Wednesday, October 31th: Day Two of Tournament

Yesterday, professional photographers appeared out of nowhere and were taking pictures all over the room. They are still here today and I am reminded of this each time a flash goes off in the room. The candid photos seem to add to the prestige of this event. I have to admit--I am hoping they don't snap any of me because I look drained without some lipstick to brighten my face. I actually don't feel tired, rather I have been working non-stop on writing and I cannot tear myself away from it. I think I have a love affair with words.
