For me, being in a room where everyone is playing backgammon and I am not is as torturous as a recovering alcoholic sitting at a bar salivating while trying to resist ordering a drink.
This evening, I watched Tardieu and Vincent play. I'm in a room where I am able to stand and watch one of the giants in Backgammon play a match. There must be something insanely and intrinsically out of whack with me because I actually feel enthralled watching them play and couldn't imagine being anywhere else this Thursday evening.
