Patrick Gibson reports from the 2008 Los Angeles Open Backgammon Backgammon tournament, held from June 6 to June 8 2008 in Van Nuys, California.

Our LOS ANGELES OPEN backgammon tournament, June 6-7-8, 2008, is on the ABT (American Backgammon Tour). And, as usual, we had a number of the current 2008-top- 25 players enter this year's competition: #1-Bob Koca from Maryland; #4-Jon Vietor, La Jolla, CA; #5-Drew Giovanis, Las Vegas, NV; #7-Christopher Yep from Ohio; #19-Ray Fogerlund, Bakersfield, CA; #20-Dave Settles, Lansing, IL; #21-Justin Nunez, Woodland Hills, CA; and #22-Joe Russell, Studio City, CA.
