In the last article we looked at some bear off situations with a bat in the belfry, an enemy checker in the empty spaces or pips between say your remaining checkers on five or six point and ace or deuce points.
Our play choices were to take one off, move closer to the enemy leaving a minimum number of shots, or to take off two checkers leaving more shots increasing our still wins.
Still wins are those you still win after being hit.
