The following situation came up in the finals of the Intermediate event in the ABA Peoria tournament last weekend (October 10-12).
The score is tied at 7 to 7 in a match to 11. Black is holding a 2 cube and is on roll. Should Black redouble? If Black redoubles, should White take?

I too love this game. In my game after I double to 4, white thinking I am crazy, beavers to 8. After I roll a 2-1, he doubles me to 16. Now this is better odds than I get in Vegas so I beaver to 32. I laughed when he rolled a 2-1. My mistake. A mad white takes the 64 cube saying, "What, you can't roll a 2-1?" I am now deep in debt, but you can't get that kind of a rush at a bridge table.
