Mary Hickey reports from the 2008 Mid-Atlantic Backgammon Championships, held at the Towson Marriott Hotel in Towson, Maryland, from October 17 to October 19, 2008.

But Elayne Feinstein succeeded in establishing a new ABT event this October 17-19 in Towson, Maryland. She and her staff that included her daughter Kim Messina and several other relatives put together an excellent and well-attended event in an entirely new venue, Elayne's home town of Baltimore.
