Last month we began our journey through match play with double match point play, DMP Article. This month we continue with another score usually found near the end of the match: gammon go, otherwise known as GG.
Pure gammon go is when your opponent is one point away from winning the match and you have two points to go in the Crawford game. There are a couple of important points that are known to most players, they are:
Losing a gammon as the trailer costs you no more than simply losing the game. This is unlike money where losing a gammon costs you twice as much as losing a single game.
