Excellent coverage as usual. I am amazed that there is still controversy about recording matches. The ability to share, save, analyze, and even broadcast matches is a MUST for the game to grow. When you enter a tournament, you give up your right to "privacy," particularly in the higher divisions where you are virtually playing as a "professional."
The ONLY reasonable rationale for a player to object to having his match recorded that I can think of is if the person doing the recording does not agree to share the information or copy of the video and/or log with the other player and/or the tournament director.
I believe that with modern technology, we will soon be seeing the finals of major events broadcast live over the internet for everyone in the world to see. If and when that happens, no player should have the right to stop it.
