This is a great quiz that illustrates why you have to apply match equity and take points, price of gammons and maybe even some mysticism when you are considering the cube at different scores.
Please let me know if you get all 5 right so I can avoid playing you in the future!
Note that every question applies to the same position below, and Black is always on roll.

Excellent article. It illuminates the vast difference in cube action in match play and money play.
Hello Phil,
sorry to say that, but I think this one is not even an article at all.
It is a collection of 5 times the same position, only difference is score. Then you just put a question about the cubeaction.
Negative: No explanation at all, no rollout information. Correct action is Pass? By how much? Huge pass? close pass? You don't even provide rollout settings and results. Poor.
On top of that, I couldn't believe that position 5 is a pass at 2-1 /5 with the leader on roll.
I did a rollout on GnuBG, 324 trials, full rollout with MEC26: take by 0.876! And not a pass!
I am doing stuff like this in my post match analysis all the time: alter the score a little and check how this affects the cube strategy, so nothing special about this method at all. Standard.

No explanation HOW to apply MET or what gammon price is. Again, poor.
