"So he's leaving, on a midnight plane to ... Singapore!?"
Actually, it was a noon drive to Saugus, then an afternoon flight a few days later to Tucson, then after packing nearly a hundred boxes and putting them into storage, an early morning flight to Tokyo, followed, a few more days after that, by a flight to Singapore.
Do they still have midnight trains to Georgia?

Always fun Jake... But maybe you didn't get enough rest before the Calcutta, where I announced the names of THREE previous 3 time winners!
The third one is the tough but unassuming Bob Glass, who played many a match at the Cavendish West club before you showed up there.
Bob is a great player and a class act, as are you. Norm is tough under pressure and won a couple matches with comebacks when the outcome of our side bet was still in doubt. That is why I was so confident, (with him as my teammate), because when the smoke clears Norm [retired LA County Fire Captain] is usually standing.
