Be warned, I am not so much writing this as thinking out loud while typing. I will ramble, digress, vacillate, equivocate. I will contradict myself, and worse, agree with myself. I will wade into a Rice paddy, and a few paragraphs later climb out of the pool by way of the corner pocket. And to start … Well, to start you need to think of what Ewan McGregor dived into in Trainspotting. Too obscure? Then what about the similar swim taken by Ayush Mahesh Khedekar in Slumdog Millionaire? No help? Think baby's diaper. To be more exact, what one word answer would the Bear give if asked what he did in the woods? You see I am not sure of GammonVillage's editorial policy, so to avoid offense I tiptoe delicately around the subject, exactly the way I would tiptoe around it while walking through a corral.

For the benefit of novices, you should give us a sample of what we would get with the regular subscription. Would it improve our game? Many of us live in areas of the country where there is hardly any interest in backgammon and so we play mainly online, that, too, has its drawbacks if it is your only form of playing. wtmac
Stick is a luckbox. And he does it with such incredible consistency and authority and often tries to confuse people with irrefutable data and logic that one might actually wind up believing that he understood this game.
Don't be deceived.
Rumor has it that he is not entirely human.
Jake had a partner on the winning percentage bet he lost in LA, a man he was counting on to carry him through in case Jake himself were a bit rusty. His partner failed him, and mine (Norm Wiggins) did not.
Moral: I have found that winning a Benjamin off of Jake is better than a poke in the eye with a Sharp Stick.
LoL - I just got around to reading this article as I've been traveling. Entertaining, well done. (and let's not forget MCG is a donkey)
