Singapore celebrates lots of holidays. There are Indian celebrations such as Deepavali, when Serangoon Road is ablaze with light. There is Hari Raya, and Chinese New Year, and even Halloween.
There are restaurants that serve turkey dinners on Thanksgiving, and bars that open at 6 a.m. to offer a live broadcast of the Super Bowl (not an official holiday, perhaps, but it's the thought that counts).
