Tournament Report - 2010 New Mexico Backgammon Championships

Mary Hickey reports on the 2010 American Backgammon Tour (ABT) New Mexico Backgammon Championships, held from January 28 through January 31, 2010 in Santa Fe, New Mexio.

Ed Bennett certainly had a great year in backgammon in 2009, finishing third in ABT points, with his son Adam close behind at #7. So in search of new adventures in the game we all love, Ed inaugurated a new ABT event this year, the New Mexico State Championships.

This new event got off to a rousing start, with a start-studded field of players and at this writing, rave reviews already appearing on the bulletin boards where backgammon's cognoscenti share their thoughts and impressions.
