Backgammon in Iran

As you know, backgammon (takhte-nard) is a very popular game in Iran. Unfortunately no organization or federation for support in this field exists.

Most backgammon players play friendly games at home.

We have tried for about 3 years to hold backgammon tournaments with fair competition between backgammon players.

We would like to show the sports organization that playing backgammon can improve mental health, and that backgammon is a useful intellectual activity.
