I briefly considered not covering 5 away 5 away because so much of the score reflects money play. I soon after came to my senses noting not only is that probably the most common score at most tournaments since the last chance and many side events are played to 5 points, but also because you may not already know how similar to money it is and the small differences that creep in on non contact racing cubes or recube take points for example.

Alright Stick, give me a carrot. eeorr
Years ago, a very good player used to preach that at 5away/5away you should be much quicker to drop because you have almost a "free drop" the next game if things go wrong and it just doesn't cost you that much to be down 5away/4away vs. 5away/3away.
I always thought, if that's true, why is the live cube take point so low at 5away/5away (around 20 percent).
Is there any logic or validity to that advice?
No logic that I can see unless he was a regular you'd play and was trying to 'help' your game, then he's a genius.
