When you read about blunders in Theory and Tactics, most often they are blunders I have made myself. That is because I study the game with the aim of improving my own play. I look at my errors, try to figure out what concepts I was missing when I made them, and then try to integrate what I have learned into my mental habits, hopefully to get better results in the future. That is where most of the material that finds its way into these columns comes from.
