Back Yard Backgammon
|
What do you do when there's no backgammon in your burg? You can fly or drive long distances to major events, which is expensive but helps you "get your fix" at least once every month or two. You can start a club, which is great if it works out. But if you don't get enough regular players, running a club can become a difficult and thankless task. You may also have to drive a long way to hold club events at a central location, or an establishment that's willing to let you play without charging you a fee for the room.
Surely the thought has occurred to many players, "Wouldn't it be nice if live backgammon were available right in my back yard?"
