At first glance, Masayuki Mochizuki, better known to his friends and competitors as "Mochy" doesn't seem that imposing, but when you come to realize the ferocity with which he dispatches his opponents over the board you soon realize he is no one to be taken lightly.
On Sunday, July 19th of last year (2009) Mochy accomplished every backgammon player's dream of becoming "World Champion" when he ousted defending champion Lars Trabolt 25-20 in a hard fought final match and while proud of his achievement, Mochy remains modest in acknowledging his accomplishments.
