I remember quite clearly where and when I first saw a man juggle a chainsaw.
The place was Venice Beach, the year 1983. He asked those of us gathered around him if there were any cops in sight. Chainsaws are noisy, and they had threatened to ticket him for noise pollution. He wasn't worried about chopping off his arm, or other even less replaceable body parts. He was worried about getting a ticket.
