I had recently decided to seriously commit myself to improving my game. The best start I thought was revisiting double match point study so I set to it. I played XG about 100 matches before I logged into Gridgammon and started to play against humans. Within my first 5 matches on the Grid I had one of the more interesting games I've played. Not only is it dmp but it turned into an exquisite backgame with both sides having difficult decision after difficult decision. I knew shortly into the game when I rolled double deuces and had no idea what to play that my performance rating was going to be shot. It is an excellent session to learn from.
