One more Japan Open has come and gone, and once more you all failed to go! Come on! This was a great time to make the trip. Because of the tragic events of last spring prices, while never cheap, are certainly down. Though I hate to argue with as credible a source as The Simpsons, unlike the pond outside the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, you won't find any three-eyed fish at Sushi Fukumoto. If you haven't been to the Japan Open, you haven't been to one of the world's best tournaments. Next year you should all go, no excuses!
Unfortunately, I didn't go, but I have a good excuse. My whole office, and my whole family, all left the country at the same time. So while the dice were rolling, I was busy from the time I fed the hamsters and cleaned the turtle tank in the morning until I checked the runs on all the workstations via remote log-in at night. Of course there were days I checked the hamsters remotely, cleaned the servers, and tried to log into the turtle tank.
